Heus Manufacturing was founded in 1898 by Germain Heus in Marytown, WI. The company went through many changes over the next 100 years and became a leader in manufacturing goods for many large companies. In 1999 Heus Manufacturing was awarded the Wisconsin Forward Award which is given to the organizations that solve the issues of competitive performance, operational excellence, and sustainability, leading to improved economic performance, creating jobs, and improving the quality of life in Wisconsin. In 2002 the company achieved QS9000 and became Black Belt Certified in Six Sigma in 2004. In 2006 Heus Manufacturing became ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified. EHR Enterprises purchased Heus Manufacturing in 2007.

Lathes
Currently, our machinery covers a broad range of sizes and tolerances. We have chuckers with 8 inch chucks, barfeed machines (with up to 2 inch diameter capabilities), and large lathes with chucks capable of turning up to a 43 inch diameter. To this, add highly trained and skilled machinists, which makes Heus the logical choice for firms outsourcing their work. For sizes and travels, see the links below.

Machining Centers (vertical)
As with the other equipment, we have updated our machining centers, adding new mills that cover a broad range of sizes. Smaller Cat 40 taper machines handle smaller, high volume runs with larger Cat 50 taper machines for large casting and shorter volume jobs. All programs are stored off-line and loaded (up and down) with a new DNC system. For sizes and travels, see the links below.

Machining Centers (horizontal)
With various size 2 pallet machining centers in our facility, it gives us the ability to do some very complex machining. The indexable pallets allow parts to be machined from multiple sides, often times completing the part. Running parts complete reduces the handling, thus eliminating possibility of error. For sizes and travel, see the links below.

Welding & Assembly
In the machining business, we often receive requests for other services. To meet the demand, we have developed multiple component parts (assemblies) and tripled the welding capacity. Adding services like these allows customers to have their entire job completed before shipping. From pressing in bushings and bearings, to putting together complete assembly with welded components, Heus can be your one stop machine shop. Misc. Equipment includes:
